WEF 2013 Update: FERGIE

Fergie has been great during WEF 2013 and has picked up many ribbons in the 3'3" Performance Working Hunters. She recently also won the hack during Week 8.

Fergie has been sold to Annette of California. We wish her new owners the best of luck with this special mare!

WEF 2013 Update: SOUTH HILL

Braeburn purchased the lovely Dutch Warmblood gelding South Hill by Verdi from Wayne Mclellan in December of 2012. During WEF 2013 he has been competing in the Pre Green 3' and 3'3" divisions with Erynn, and the Adult Amateur divisions with Raewyn. He has been fabulous and has picked up many blue ribbons and championships along the way.

We are incredibly excited about this horses future and are honoured to have him in the barn.

Fall 2012 Update: TENZIN B

This fall our homebred Tenzin B out of Sophie by Westporte qualified for the prestigious Governor's General Cup and Liutenant General Cup for three year old Canadian bred horses at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair.

The Royal environment is enough to faze an experienced horse, but Tenzin was as calm as a cucumber!

He was 7th on the line, and 8th under saddle in a super competitive group of three year olds!

Summer 2012 Update: AURELIUS

Our beautiful homebred gelding Aurelius (La Sophie X Maurice) has been cleaning up this summer with his new owner Cailin Drexler! He has been campaigning in the 3'3" Junior Amateur Division (he is currently standing 2nd in Ontario!) as well as trying his hand at the odd hunter derby.  He was 9th in the Hunter Derby at Cedar Run in July, and was Champion and Reserve Champion in the 3'3" Junior/ Amateur division the past two weeks at Palgrave!

We are very excited about this horses future with his fabulous new rider!

Summer 2012 Update: GRANTED

Braeburn purchased Granted from Redfield Farm immediately following the 2011 Royal Winter Fair after seeing his adorable face clean up in the equitation classes as well as the Canadian Hunter Derby.

In 2012 he has been campaigning with Raewyn in the Amateur Owner division, as well as the Canadian Hunter Derby Series with Erynn.

Foal Announcement: A Colt for SOPHIE!

I just realized that this post is WAY overdue, but I am going to post any way!

In April La Sophie had a beautiful, tall and LEGGY colt by Couleur Rubin. This is a full sibling to last years filly India B. We have named him "Belmont" aka "Monty!"

We are loving this cross and will probably repeat it again in 2013 for a 2014 foal :)

New Video: HENLEY B

Henley B is a 2009 gelding by Cabardino and out of Haley (Carthaga). He was lightly backed this past fall, and will begin full work when he is three this spring. He is an angel and has been (like all of our Cabardino babies!) extremely easy to work with.
