Foal Announcement: A Filly for KATAVI!

This year Katavi blessed us with yet another beautiful filly by Cassini II. Charlotte has incredibly long legs and looks like she is going to go grey like her father. Thankfully Katavi took to her mama duties this time around and is in love with her little girl.

WEF 2013 Update: FERGIE

Fergie has been great during WEF 2013 and has picked up many ribbons in the 3'3" Performance Working Hunters. She recently also won the hack during Week 8.

Fergie has been sold to Annette of California. We wish her new owners the best of luck with this special mare!

Summer 2012 Update: AURELIUS

Our beautiful homebred gelding Aurelius (La Sophie X Maurice) has been cleaning up this summer with his new owner Cailin Drexler! He has been campaigning in the 3'3" Junior Amateur Division (he is currently standing 2nd in Ontario!) as well as trying his hand at the odd hunter derby.  He was 9th in the Hunter Derby at Cedar Run in July, and was Champion and Reserve Champion in the 3'3" Junior/ Amateur division the past two weeks at Palgrave!

We are very excited about this horses future with his fabulous new rider!

New Video: HENLEY B

Henley B is a 2009 gelding by Cabardino and out of Haley (Carthaga). He was lightly backed this past fall, and will begin full work when he is three this spring. He is an angel and has been (like all of our Cabardino babies!) extremely easy to work with.

WEF Update: CHAVIVA VOLTAIRE

In 2007 we were looking to infuse some new blood into our breeding program, and turned to Sherry Smith of Dogwood Sport Horses in Atlanta, Georgia. There we bought Chaviva, a 2007 registered KWPN mare by Voltaire out of Parvita by Riverman.

Chaviva is tall, scopey, athletic and brave. She is currently in Wellington, Florida until the end of January and has made her jumper debut in the Training Jumper division. We have high hopes for this lady and think that she is a top jumper prospect. Check out this video of Chaviva last week!

Tenzin B

At two years old our babies begin light work with tack, and are introduced to the jumping chute. Our 2009 gelding Tenzin B (Westporte X Lacros) came into his own this summer and really seemed to enjoy the break from the ordinary. Check out this video of Tenzin free jumping: 

I really love the stallion Westporte from Country Lane Warmbloods as he stamps his young with incredible movement as well as expressive, wide faces with large, charismatic eyes. His foals have also been doing exceptionally well on the line this year, winning everywhere from IHF finals to the Devon Horse show. I am thinking about using him for our mare Vienna next year.
